Job Description

The Library Staff :

Instruct students in selecting and using research materials and technology;
Plan, organize, coordinate, oversee, and provide library services;
Catalog books for library collection;
Process and circulate library books, materials, and equipment;
Process and shelve library materials;
Assist students, teachers, and staff in the selection of library materials and equipment;
Assure that students and teachers have access to library materials for classes, assignments, and recreational reading;
Provide introduction to the library and the technology within.

Required Qualifications :

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science.
Fresh Graduate are welcome, preferably having 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Ability to select, catalogue and classify library resources
Organized, responsible, well disciplined, and high integrity person
Passionate about reading and books.
Having a passion for teaching and enjoys working with children & teenagers.
Having a pleasant personality and is keen on life-long learning.

Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues from various department
Ability to handle high load task
Ability to multi-task, including planning, organizing, prioritizing, and paying close attention to details.
Technologically proficient
